Natural Imperial Morganites Overview
Imperial Morganite is a vibrant and lustrous pink beryl that has a unique color and a timeless beauty. It is the gem that J.P. Morgan and G.F. Kunz were dreaming of when pink beryl was given the name Morganite back in 1911.
There is no equal to the color and beauty of Imperial Morganite. Imperial Topaz is the only gem that approaches it but it is not endowed with the wonderful pink hues that make Imperial Morganite an instant classic that impassions the beholder with desire.
Imperial Morganite is found only in selected pocket in Africa / Mozambique and its recovery is limited by its rarity and the torrid rainy season that limits exploration. As with any pegmatite find, the color and quality varies and only a small portion can gain the title of Imperial Morganite.
For two years running, the mining area has provided Icgems with a small limited quantity of polished gems only. Icgems is the sole provider of Imperial Morganite and is in a position to provide exclusive supply to a progressive jewelry company seeking to obtain a unique opportunity to exploit this precious and beautiful gem.
